Welcome to eric42.com! My name is Eric Richardson but I am better known as Eric42 across the Interwebs. For as long as I have been doing anything on the Interwebs, I have gone by the moniker of Eric42. Though you will find many other people out there using the name, I am the original! At one point in time, if you searched the web for Eric42, you found only me. That's less true today, but I'm still here!
So, if you want to know more about me, there really isn't all that much to say. The self-depricating part of myself wants me to just simply say that I am nobody. But I am trying my best to avoid doing that these days. I am just a simple guy that is a total and complete nerd! I am trained to be a bookkeeper. I love video games, wrestling and the Marvel movies and, one of the single most important things in my life is my Messianic faith, of which I have even began to add my writings to this very page.
However, one of the most common questions I have ever recieved is what does the 42 mean in my name. Of course, I always answer that it's the Ulimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything! Then I have to explain that to most people as well. In particular, it came from a series of books that I fell in love with many years ago called the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy. If you haven't read it, I recomend that you do. You won't be disappointed.
Latest Updates
Not much going on. I have been working and playing World of Warcraft again. This time, I'm playing WoW: Forever, which is what a lot of people call "WoW Classic+". See, they launched what is called WoW: Classic back in 2019. I didn't know about it until last year, but I gave it a try and I loved it, it was like being back in the original game from 2004. But I eventually grew semi-bored with it leaving my Paladin at lv36. But, I came back and found out that they are starting a new edition of the game that is effectively a reboot/restart/what-if kind of approach to the game. That really intrigued me. A brand new version of the game that I am able to get into from the very beginning? I decided that I was in, for now. So, I'll be playing that in my free time. As the Beta is currently down for maintainance, I jumped on this and did some more minor cosmetic updates to the front page here that most people probably will never notice.
Here is a sneak peak at a "new" page that I began for a possible future Freakazoid! website. Of course, it's the same basic design of the TTA page (without an extra column on the right side), but it's a work in progress. I could see getting it "done" a little quicker than the TTA page as there are a lot less episodes and no video games. It'll be the character guide that'll really test me. Let me know what you think and if you can think of something more to put onto the page, let me know that, too!
The TTA-Fanfic Mirror Site is fully up to date... with the stories that had been previously on the site in previous editions (minus at least one that had been requested to be taken down). There are also some "new" stories on the site that had never been on there before, so they are, for the moment, being marked as "New". Feel free to take a browse through the Mirror Site and please, feel free to leave me some feedback via email!
